Tuesday, January 12th was a great evening for Mountain View. The city council voted unanimously to join the Silicon Valley Clean Energy Authority to offer residents and businesses the choice of greener and more affordable electricity.

100 people heard Mountain View Mayor John McAllister kick off the informational meeting on Community Choice Energy on December 10, 2015.
Steve Attinger, MV sustainability manager discussed the results of the technical study and answered questions.
Silicon Valley CCE Releases Technical Study
The Silicon Valley Community Choice Energy Partnership has just completed a technical study to determine whether Community Choice Energy is feasibile for Santa Clara County, and what kind of rate structures the program can choose to implement.
